Try Juicing for Health

Juicing is the best way to provide your body with an abundance of vitamins and minerals. It also helps detoxify all of the bodies cells. This is my favorite juicing recipe that I consume every morning on an empty stomach. My immune system has always sucked, but ever since I started juicing I haven’t been sick once! I have also reaped the benefits of a lot more energy, glowing skin, and healthier hair. Below is the recipe and the benefits of each ingredient. More recipes coming soon! 

1 small beet root
2 carrots
1 small apple
1 bunch of kale
Small piece of ginger root
1/4 of lemon with skin on

Beet root:
Powerful antioxidant
Boost immune system
Clean and build the blood
Clean intestines
Detoxify the liver
Improve health of the liver, bladder, and kidneys
Improve menstrual problems
Cure anemia
Fight Cancer
Lower blood pressure
Improve circulation
Calm the nerves
Anti-inflammatory

***When beets are juiced, their nutrients become so concentrated and are delivered to the bloodstream so fast that large amounts can actually cause fever, chills and heart palpitations. Therefore, it is important to always mix other juices such as carrot, celery or apple into your beet juice recipes. In addition, do not include too much beet juice in your juicing recipes; for most people, the juice from half a medium beet is sufficient. You can also juice the beet leaves; they also have a high nutritional value.
